S13N is a London-based Limited company (Company No. 06623851) founded in June 2008. We originally focused on translating websites. We would offer our clients a full service, from translating their text to redeveloping their website into the new language.
Our clients then quickly started to ask us to handle their other translations, from brochures to contracts. Soon, the translation of websites became marginal compared to other documents. That is because apart from a few updates, websites are usually renewed annually at most, whereas other documents are needed, often urgently, on a day-to-day basis.
So we decided to go with the flow, and focus our efforts on translation only. That meant we could dedicate our existing IT resources to optimizing the translation process, and make everyone’s life easier. Our translators now have an advanced intranet that enables them to manage their projects and interact with their colleagues more efficiently. That means our clients get better, and faster translations. Our clients will also have access, as of March 2011, to an extranet that will make their management of translation projects seamless.
